Gerald J. Jasmine

Gerald J. Jasmine, age 73, of 1205 Sandusky Street, Plymouth, died unexpectedly Thursday evening, March 8, 2007 at Med Central Shelby Hospital.

He was born October 23, 1933 in Worchester, Massachusetts the son of the late Joseph and Anna May (Reeves) Jasmine. Gerald was a Korean War veteran serving with the US Air Force and had been a firefighter for the city of Plattsburgh, New York. After his retirement, he and his wife, Aneta, moved to Plymouth in 2001 to be closer to their daughter and her family.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Aneta (Deno) Jasmine of Plymouth; a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Bryan Smith of Plymouth; a son, Jerrod Jasmine of Baltimore, Maryland; 2 grandsons, Andrew and Brandon Smith of Plymouth; a sister, Dorothy Mentz.

There will be no local services at this time. The Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby is in charge of the arrangements
