George H. Fullager

George H. Fullager, 64, former Shelby resident, died Monday, November 17, 2008 at Mt. Carmel-St. Ann Hospital in Westerville Ohio.

He was born March 9, 1944 in Shelby, the son of the late William and Florence (Burkett) Fullager. He was a 1965 graduate of Shelby High School, served in The United States Army, and was a member of the Am Vets and American Legion.

He is survived by a daughter and son in law, Jennifer and Phillip Ticer of Aurora, Ohio, two grandchildren, Jacob Ticer and Madeline Ticer, a brother, William Fullager Jr. of Shelby and a sister, Mary Bowman of Georgia.

Friends may call on Friday, November 21, 2008 from 10 to 11AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main St. Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the funeral home with the Rev. Steven C. Bond, Pastor of the First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church in Shelby.
