Geneva M. Brinson

Geneva M. Brinson, 82, of Ohio 96 East, Shelby, died Tuesday afternoon in the Heritage Care Center after an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 17, 1904, in Newville. Mrs. Brinson was a retired employee of the AutoCall Corp. in Shelby and before that worked at the Fate-Root-Heath Co. in Plymouth.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Shelby, the Circle at the church, and the Get-Together Club in Shiloh.
She is survived by her husband, Glen R., whom she married Sept. 20, 1936; two sons: Mark M. of Greenville, NC, and Robert L. of Shelby; two daughters: Mrs. William (Sara) Gregor of Cleveland and Mrs. Richard (Judy) Reed of Shelby; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister.
Services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the First Lutheran Church by the Rev. Carl L. Johnson, her pastor. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh. Calling hours are Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church in care of the the funeral home.
