Gary…you will be truely missed. When I learned that Gary passed on, my heart was sad. I first met Gary through Deer hunting with my brother in law Raymond Miller. Gary had such a big heart; I remember a couple of years ago, Gary shot a button buck and generously gave me the deer because I had had no luck in gettting a deer on his property. Gary always made my deer hunting experience more joyful. I enjoyed listening to his sage wisdom on the arts of being a good deer hunter. Gary always welcomed Raymond and I to hunt with him. I remember the last time I hunted with Gary during shotgun season in 2008, as he planned out our hunt on his land.. and he told us where some bucks were… And then Gary had his son take out some deer backstraps to cook for me and Ed Hershey… That was the Gary I remember, always giving of himself and of his bountiful blessings. Gary was not just a good deer hunter; Gary was my friend, and comrade in the enjoyment of the great outdoors… I remember our discussions about history and the American Revolution. Gary you will be missed my brother, my friend… you will be missed; but never forgotton…

Aunt Lillian, Andrea and family, I’m in Florida reading about Gary. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I just got to know him and Andrea recently and enjoyed coming out to their farm and taking care of their “fur kids”. I’m sorry I can’t be there for the service, but you all will be in my prayers.

    With deepest sympathy,
    Laurie
