Fred Neville
Fred Neville, age 35, of 108 East Main Street, Shelby, died unexpectedly Friday, August 4,2000 at Med Central Shelby Hospital after suffering a massive heart attack at home.
Fred was born April 27, 1965 in Gallipolis, OH, and was a graduate of Westland High School in Galloway, OH. He served in the U.S. Navy stationed on the USS Forrestall and was currently a dock supervisor at Overnite Transportation in Shelby with 11 years of service. His hobbies were fishing, riding his motorcycle, collecting Hot Wheels cars, and being a computer buff.
Fred lived life to the fullest, loved everyone he met, and never had a cross word about anyone.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Russell) Neville, whom he wed on May 31, 1986; a son, Shane Andrew Neville and a daughter Krystal Lynn Neville both at home; mother and step-father, Bonnie and Howard Sattler of Columbus; 3 brothers: Sterling Neville, Jr. and Mark Neville both of
Columbus, OH; and Cody Neville of Shelby; 3 sisters: Cathie M. Webb of Groveport, OH, Loraina Ann Hutton of Rutland, OH, and Lisa M. Vest of Peebles, OH; maternal grandmother, Olga Mandus
of Bethel Park, PA; mother-in-law, Dorothy Rhodes of Mansfield; nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sterling Neville, Sr.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, OH where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 :00 AM with his brother-in-law, Rev. Marty R. Hutton, Pastor of Emmanuel Apostolic Tabernacle in Rutland. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby with military honors. Memorials may made to the family for an education fund for his children and left in care of the funeral home.
