Frank J. Tridico

Frank J. Tridico, age 74, of 170 West Park Drive, Shelby, died Friday, May 17, 2002 at Med Central Shelby Hospital after a long illness.
He was born April 13, 1928 in Crestline, Ohio, the son of the late James and Mary (Lannie) Tridico. Frank was a graduate of Crestline High School. He was a real estate agent for 29 years and was a self-employed carpenter. He was a former member and past president of the Galion Jaycees, and coached little league baseball for many years in Galion. He was a member of the First Church of God in Shelby. Frank was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, always putting others before himself.
Frank is survived by his wife, Billie Jean (Napier) Tridico whom he wed on November 9, 1974; 2 sons: Jackie Tridico of Georgia and Dan Hensley of Shelby; 4 daughters and 3 sons-in-law: Lynn Clages of Bay Village, OH, Linda and James Artz of Shelby, Sharon and Ronnie Lawson of Shelby, Teresa and Grant Mitchell of Miamisburg, OH; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Lucy Bishop of Mansfield and Katie Billingsley of Canton, OH; 3 brothers: Louie Tridico of Mansfield, Tony Tridico of Georgia, and Nat Tridico of Galion.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Nick Tridico and Jimmy Tridico, and 3 sisters: Rosie Moyer, Angie Yates, and Pauline Fredricks.
Calling hours will be on Monday, May 20, 2002 from 5-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, at 1:00 PM with Pastor Thad Hoffman and Pastor Joseph Shihady officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven. Memorial expressions may be made to Shelby Helpline Ministries building fund.
