Frances E. Jennings

Frances E. Jennings, age 68, of 3202 Shelby Ganges Road, Shelby, died Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Med Central Mansfield Hospital after a long illness.

She was born June 7, 1935 in Magoffin County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Frank and Gladys (Rowe) Arnett. She was a former employee of AMF in Shelby and was a waitress for many years at the Spinning Wheel Restaurant in Shelby. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, canning, quilting, golfing.

Mrs. Jennings is survived by her husband, Jerry Jennings whom she wed on September 7, 1970; a daughter, Michelle Lyn Jennings of Shelby, and a grandaughter, Mikayla Jennings; a brother, Noah Denver Arnett of Salyersville, KY; a step son, Terry Robin Jennings of Indiana; a step daughter, Kimberly Danita Castor of Indiana; 6 step grandaughters; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Corena Patrick.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at 11:00 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, with Rev. Andrew Guertler of the First Church of God, officiating. Calling hours will be on Saturday from 10-11AM at the funeral home. Memorial expressions may be made to the family % the Turner Funeral Home to help off set funeral expenses.
