Floyd D. Green
Floyd D. Green, 72, 24 Myrtle Drive, died at 9 a.m. Monday at Heritage Care Center after an extended illness.
Born Nov. 24, 1913 in Chatfield, he was the son of John Adam and Erna (Schafer-Green) Aichholz.
He was a retired farmer and retired employee of Shelby Business Forms. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and American Association for Retired Persons.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Geneva) Clary of Shelby; two grandchildren; one half-brother, Dwight Aichholz of Attica; and two sisters: Alice Sheets of Lake Montezuma, AZ, and Alberta Utz of Attica.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Imogene (Stickney) Green in May 1981.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Turner Funeral Home with his pastor, Rev. Carl L. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society or Shelby Public Health League and left at the funeral home.
