Florence Mae “Mildred” Hartz

Florence Mae “Mildred” Hartz, age 86, formerly of 4691 Richland Run Road, died Friday afternoon, December 28, 2001 at the Heritage Care Center in Shelby.

She was born November 13, 1915 in Shelby, the daughter of William and Pearl (Gutshall) Hartz.
Florence was a homemaker.

She is survived by 3 sisters: Nina Hartz, Margaret Ferguson, and Margie Baird all of Shelby; 2 brothers: Raymond Hartz of Shelby and Albert Hartz of Mansfield; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers: Eldon, Robert, Richard, Herbert, and Wilbur Hartz; and 2 sisters: Dorothy Johns and Irene Hartz.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, December 30, 2001 from 2-4 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1 PM with Rev. Steven C. Bond, Pastor of First Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial willi be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to First Lutheran Church.
