Fern Marie (Gullett) Sexton
Fern Marie Sexton, age 57, of 13 Grove Avenue Extension, died Sunday , June 8, 1997 at her home after an extended illness. She was born December 1, 1939 in Willard, Ohio the daughter of Paris and Virgie (Harvey) Gullett.
Mrs. Sexton was a homemaker and was a former employee of Glen’s Surplus in Shelby. She was associated with the Pentecostal House Of Faith in Bucyrus.
She is survived by her husband, Luther Edward Sexton, Sr. whom she marred on May 10, 1958; 3 sons and 3 daughters-in-law, Luther E. and Donna sexton, of Zephyr Hills , Florida; Daniel L. and Dawn Sexton of Shelby; Michael E. and Robin Sexton of Tampa, Florida; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Gwendolyn K. and Darrell Crews of Riverview, Florida; and Pamela Sexton of Shelby; 12 Grandchildren; 7 sisters, Deb Ray of Zanesville, Ohio; Margaret Ditmars of Bucyrus, Ohio; Priscilla Canady of Byron, Georgia; Mary Thompson, Irene Mars, Evelyn Rumney, and Debbie Brooks all of Macon, Georgia; 2 brothers, Glenn Gullett of Fort Myers, Florida; and Gerald Gullett of Macon, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, Imogene Carey and 2 bothers, Kenneth and Arthur Gullett.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Billy C. Chatman officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
