Fanceis A. “Frank” Weaver
Francis A. Frank Weaver, age 82, of 3867 Funk Road, Shelby, died Friday, February 04, 2005 at the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.
Frank was born October 30, 1922 in the Shelby Settlement the son of the late Aloysius A. and Alice C. (Allwine) Weaver. He was a farmer his entire life. Mr. Weaver had worked as a mechanic at Bourgeois Pontiac in Shelby and retired from Copperweld-Shelby in 1984. He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Shelby Moose Lodge. He was an avid fiddle player with various bands though the years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and going to auctions.
Mr. Weaver is survived by his children: Linda J. and Larry E. Millenbaugh of New Washington, Charles E. and Barbara E. Weaver of Mansfield, Eugene F. Weaver of Shelby, Richard J. and Kathy Weaver of Mansfield, Patrick C. and Sandra Weaver of Galion, and Gary T. Weaver of Shelby; 12 grandchildren; 3 great granddaughters; 2 brothers, Bernard and Mary Helen Weaver of Crestline and Joseph Weaver of Shelby; a sister, Dolores Studer of Tiro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Marie (Alt) Weaver on August 2, 2000 and by a sister, Margaret Weaver.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 6, 2005 from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where the rosary will be recited at 8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 AM at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby with Father Nick Cunningham and Deacon Steve Keller officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to the church or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
