Evelyn M. (Weller) Clever

Evelyn M. Clever, age 69, formerly of 39 East Smiley Gardens, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter in Caro, Michigan.

She was born May 22, 1921 in Fredericktown, Ohio the daughter of John and Mae (Burkholder) Weller.

Mrs. Clever, along with her husband Donald, were former owners of the Rhythm Bowl in Shelby.

She is survived by 2 sons: Dr. Kenneth Clever, D.V.M. of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Gary Clever of Phoenix, Arizona; 1 daughter: Mrs. Larry (Kay Ann) Chandler of Caro, Michigan; 8 grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Howard (Kathryn) Richards of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald A. Clever in 1989 and by 2 brothers: Everett and Ed Weller and by 1 sister, Ula Leedy.

Calling hours will by today from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home where services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Daniel Noe, Pastor of the Palmyra Church Of Christ in
Fredericktown, Ohio.

Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
