Eugene L. Hall

Eugene L. Hall, age 77, of 5598 State Route 61 North, Shelby, died Sunday evening in the Crestwood Care Center after an extended illness. He was born August 24, 1915, in Nankin, Ohio, the son of Hazard and Bessie (Markel) Hall.

Mr. Hall retired from the Tech Form Industries and prior to that had been an employee of the Shelby Cycle Co.

He is survived by his wife, Beatrice (Orewiler) Hall, whom he married on September 30, 1950; 3 sons and a daughter-in-law: Terry and Bonnie Hall of Shelby; Ronald Hall of Shelby; and Maxwell French of Montana; 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law: Sally and Michael Young of Florida; Mary Jane and Sonny Warren of North Carolina; and Linda Means of Shelby; 6 grandsons and 4 granddaughters; 6 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by a son Martin Hall in 1986.

Calling hours will by on Wednesday evening from 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. by Rev. W. Jay Hawes, pastor of the First Church Of the Nazarene in Shelby.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby Public Health League or to the First Church Of the Nazarene and left in care of the funeral home.
