Ethel (Brown) Dellinger
Ethel Dellinger, age 73, of 825 Tanglewood Drive, Mansfield, died Tuesday morning in the Winchester Terrace Nursing Home in Mansfield after a long illness.
She was born September 21, 1921 in Clearfield, Kentucky the daughter of Amos and Ruby (McFarland) Brown.
Mrs. Dellinger was a homemaker and was a former employee of Ideal Electric, Art Rattan, and the Ohio Steel Tube Company. She was a member of the Community Bible Baptist Church in Mansfield, the Young at Heart Sunday school class at the church. She enjoyed sewing, hunting , fishing and quilting.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey H. Dellinger whom she married on October 29, 1944 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard by Rev. Heffelfinger; 1 sister and brother-in-law Betty and Paul Fairbanks of Chillicothe, Ohio; nieces and nephews;
She was preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Meadows, a brother, Melvin Brown, a half sister Gladys Gregory and by a half brother, Ollie Brown.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street in Shelby. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Community Baptist Bible Church , 1043 Springmill Road in Mansfield, with Pastor Ken Tucker, officiating.
Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
