Esther “Pat” (Appeman) Armentrout

Esther “Pat” Armentrout, 93, 87 Grand Blvd. Ext., Shelby, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 1999, in the Crestwood Care Center after a short illness.
She was born Oct. 7, 1905, in Florence, the son of the late August and Ann (Stickreth) Appeman. Mrs. Armentrout worked for 17 years at the Ohio Seamless Tube Co. and 12 years at Shelby Business Forms. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and Rizpah Chapter 153 Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Davis R. Armentrout, in 1959; four sisters: Maude Diedrick, Elsie Hogsett, Hazel Puckey and Florence Bakkala; and one brother, Harold Appeman.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Shelby with Rev. Canon David S. Sipes officiating. Burial will be in Florence Cemetery in Erie County. Memorial expressions may be made to Shelby Home and Public Health. The family selected the Turner Funeral Home to assist them with funeral arrangements.
