Esta Noreen (Stevenson) Gorsuch
TOGETHER FOREVER. Esta Noreen Gorsuch was reunited with her husband Richard Earl Gorsuch on Monday, March 5, 2012 after passing at their home in Shelby. They had been married 55 years at the time of his death in 2001.
She was born, January 3, 1926 in Hancock County, Ohio the daughter of Ross K. and Anna M. (Hazelton) Stevenson. Esta was a 1943 graduate of Mount Blanchard High School. She and her husband Earl were the owners of Arnold’s Flowers on West Main Street in Shelby for many years. After the shop closed Esta was the office manager at Westbrook Country Club in Mansfield. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby. She enjoyed gardening and crafting, however, her greatest joy was her family.
Esta is survived by her 4 children: David (Tammy) Gorsuch of Shelby, Vicki (Bill) Redman of Mansfield, Richard Earl Gorsuch, Jr. (fiancée, Janice Alt) of Shelby and Lori Gorsuch of Colorado; 5 Grandchildren: Mike (Dawn) Redman, Scott (Bernadette) Redman, Ryan Gorsuch, Jennifer Gorsuch, Ada Gorsuch; 7 great grandchildren: Alysa Gorsuch, Braden Hall, Lucy Sutcliff, Taylor and Carter Redman, Nicholaus and Annabelle Redman; a brother: Raymond Stevenson of Findlay; Nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother: William Stevenson, 2 sisters: Dorotha Lemons and Mary Etta Cross.
Friends may call on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 10-11 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held at 11 AM by Pastor Tom Snyder.
