Elsie E. Reinweiler

Elsie E. Reinweiler, age 100, of Shelby, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Crestwood Care Center.
Elsie was born December 27, 1911 in Milan, Ohio to the late John and Frances (Meyer) Reinweiler. She was retired from Ohio Steel Tube Company where she had spent 20 years in the payroll department. Elsie was the oldest member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and the Daughters of Isabella. She was an avid card player and enjoyed the Cleveland Indians but her true love was her family.
Elsie is survived by a sister: Beatrice Johnson of Shelby; nieces and nephews: Michael and Lynne Johnson of North Canton, Linda and Jim McBride of Shelby, Laurie and Dick Parrish of Shelby, Marjorie Fada of Florida, Jane and Steve Scheid of Milan; numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law: Eleanor and Robert Schwable; a brother, Rev. George Reinweiler; a brother-in-law, Ralph Johnson.
Friends may call on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 from 6-8 pm at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where a rosary service will be conducted at 8 pm by the Daughters of Isabella. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 11 am at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Shelbywith Fr. John Missler and Fr. Nick Cunningham concelebrating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the church.

To Mike, Linda, Laurie and Bea:
We were very sorry to hear that Elsie had passed away. I grew up on Auburn Ave. and knew the Johnsons and Reinweilers.
Elsie was such a nice lady and our families knew each other. I remember Mike, Linda and Laurie with much love. My deepest sympathy also to Bea.
