Eleanor M. (Sidle) Kilgore

Eleanor M. Kilgore, of 67 Pearl Drive, Shelby, died Tuesday morning, February 2, 1999 at Med Central Shelby Hospital after an extended illness.

Mrs. Kilgore was born in Wooster, Ohio, the daughter of Lloyd Wilson and Pearl Harriet (VanNest) Sidle. On November 7, 1929 she married George L. Kilgore who preceded her in death on August 21, 1993. Mrs. Kilgore assisted her husband at the George Kilgore Accounting Office in Shelby. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby, the Shelby Garden Club, and was a former Girl Scout Leader. She enjoyed camping.

Mrs. Kilgore is survived by a sister, Blanche E. Knight of Shelby along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, and a sister, Mildred Kaler.

Private funeral services will be held at the Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. D. Evan Houck officiating. Entombment will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to the Shelby Home and Public Health or the First Lutheran Church and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home.
