Eileen E. (Light) Eichinger

Eileen E. Eichinger, age 89, of Holtz Road, Shelby, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at Med Central Mansfield Hospital.
She was born December 21, 1917, in Shelby, the daughter of the late Bert Ferdinand and Grace M. (Gundrum) Light. Eileen was a former employee of Shelby Cycle Company, Autocall, Shelby Sales Book and retired from Shelby Metal Products after 30 years of service. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Eileen is survived by a daughter-in-law, Jan Eichinger of Shelby; 2 grandchildren, Rich and Angela Eichinger of Shelby and Connie and William Castle of Shiloh; 5 great grandchildren, Bobby Lewis Castle, Amber Marie Castle, Autumn Grace Castle, Anna Rachel Eichinger, Samantha Richelle Eichinger; a sister-in-law, Lillian Light of Mansfield; 2 nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Nick Eichinger, Jr. in 1997, a son, Fred Eichinger in 2006, a brother, William Light and 3 sisters, Betty Jane Light, Hallie Sipes, Mary Lou Crouse.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. James H. Humphrey officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.

I have knowen Eileen and the family for 20 some years as i lived down the road from them. Eileen was a careing lady,and full of life, she would always stop me on my walks and we would talk. She sure loved her family.I spoke with her many times.
