Edna Mary (Moon) Treadway
Edna Mary Treadway, 86, formerly of Taylortown Road, Shelby, died Friday at 11 p.m. in Heritage Care Center after a long illness.
Born Aug. 6, 1899, in Caledonia, Mrs. Treadway was the daughter of the late Charles C. and Callie (Hollar) Moon. She was a homemaker and a member of Taylortown Community Church.
Surviving are two sons: Charles E. of Cincinnati and Ralph E. of Mansfield; two daughters: Alice M. Odson and Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Keck, both of Mansfield; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Floyd Moon of Columbus; and a sister, Mrs. Orva (Minnie) Harper of Edison.
Her husband, Samuel J., died in 1971. She also was preceded in death by two daughters, three brothers, and a sister.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Turner Funeral Home by her pastor, the Rev. F. Joseph Obrochta. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
