    Dear Family of Edna,
My thoughts and prayers as you celebrate the life of your dear mom. I had a chance to visit with her before I left for New Orleans. She was her beautiful self, always remembering my name and glad to see me. I will always remember her friendliness, her hospitality and her love of family. She was my “godmother” and I have fond memories of her celebrating in special ways on my birthday and other significant days in my life. She shared simple care and an abundance of love. I will miss not being able to join you during these days since I am so far away ministering here in New Orleans. Know of my presence in spirit with each of you.
    Sr. Mary Ellen
