Edith Mae (Troxell) Fackler
Edith Mae Fackler, age 86, formerly of 21 East Smiley Gardens in Shelby, died Wednesdsday evening in the Crestwood Care Center after a short illness. She was born March 13, 1906 in Shiloh the daughter of Mark Elmer and Mary Elizabeth (Mowery) Troxell.
Mrs. Fackler was a former employee of the Shelby Gum Company. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.
Mrs. Fackler is survived by 1 daughter, Arlene Mae Dawson of Shelby; 4 grandchildren; and 1 greatgrandson; 4 brothers: Chester and Dale Troxell of Shelby; Robert Troxell of Worthington; and Kenneth Troxell of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steward A. Fackler in 1988 and by a brother Harry Troxell in 1988.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home and also one hour prior to funeral services at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the funeral home, with her pastor the Rev. Lyle Hinkle, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby Public Health league and left in care of the funeral home.
