E. Kenneth Ford

E. Kenneth Ford, age 84, of 38 Windemere Drive, Shelby, died at 4:53 P.M Monday in the Shelby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. He was born July 3, 1902 in Adario, Ohio. He was the son of Bert and Sarah (Kirkland) Ford.

Mr. Ford is survived by his wife, Gladys ( Bailey) Ford, whom he married on July 28, 1926; 1 son: Warren Ford of Marion, Ohio; 1 daughter: Mrs. Raymond (Patricia) Dawns of Shelby; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 sister: Mrs. Carl (Marjorie) Paine of Shelby. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, and 3 brothers.

Mr. Ford had been a partner in Walkers Dairy in Shelby for over 20 years. Following his retirement, he had worked as a maintenance man at Park Village in Shelby. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby and the AARP.

Funeral services will be held Thurday at 10:30 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Shelby, with his pastor the Rev. Dr. Carl G. Beighley officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Celretery in Shelby. Friends may call Wednesday at the Turner Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.

Memoriall expressions may be made to the First United Methodist Church and left at the funeral home.
