Doyle K. McCarron

Doyle K. McCarron, age 93, of 1245 Linn Road, Mansfield, died unexpectedly at his home on Friday, October 29, 1999.

Mr. McCarron was born Marh 27, 1906 in Lucas, Ohio, the son of Arthur and Emma (Baughman) McCarron. He was a graduate of Lucas High School and was a farmer all of his life. He drove school bus for 30 years for the Crestview Local Schools and was a Franklin Township Trustee for 36 years. Mr. McCarron was a member of the Richland Church of the Brethren for 70 years.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, James and Jo Anne McCarron of Mansfield with whom he made his home; a daughter and son-in-law, Maxine and Gilbert Granados of Fair Oaks, CA; 5 grandchildren: John McCarron of Mansfield, Deborah Daup of Worthington, Jeffrey Strickler and Lynne Strickler both of California, and Kevin Stricker of Louisiana; 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace (Dishong) McCarron on May 19, 1990, and by a sister, Kathleen Marcus.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM with Rev. Steven L. Schag, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to the Richland Church of the Brethren.
