Doshia (Hitchcock) Trimble

Doshia Trimble, age 92, of 6827 Baker Road, Shelby, Ohio died Monday, June 7, 1999, at her home from complications of old age.

Mrs. Trimble was born February 23, 1907 in Denver, Johnson County, Kentucky, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Spradlin) Hitchcock. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Baptist Church. She loved her family and enjoyed crocheting and gardening.

She is survived by a daughter, Mary Katherine Ramey of Shelby; 6 grandchildren and their spouses: Randy and Debbie Ramey of Shelby, Sherry and Dave Ebersole of Shelby, Penny and Rodney Ebersole of Shelby, Donnie and Kathy Trimble of Salyersville, Kentucky, Doug and Ellen Trimble of Salyersville, Kentucky, Magalene and Jackie Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky; a daughter-in-law, Mary Trimble of Salyersville, Kentucky; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant Trimble in 1944; a son, Clarence B. Trimble in 1976; 2 brothers: Wiley Hitchcock and Elbert Hi!chcock; and a sister, Fannie Hitchcock.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 7-9 pm at the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 am with Rev. Joe E. Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Trimble Cemetery in Ivyton, Kentucky.

The Turner Funeral Home in Shelby is in charge of the local arrangements.
