Dorothy P. (May) Livesay

Dorothy P. Livesay, age 84, of 26 Park Village, died Monday evening in the Crestwood Care Center after a short illness. She was born December 6, 1907 in Leesville, Ohio, the daughter of Martin and Laura (Guissinger) May.

Mrs. Livesay was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Shelby.

She is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Maynard and Cecelia Livesay of Ontario; 5 daughters and sons-in-law: Jack and Dorothy Stallings of Attica; James and Virginia Lacey of Shelby; Daniel and Linda Spitler of Marblehead; Raymond and Carol Roberts of Toledo; and Ercil and Joy Stevens of Mansfield; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Verda Ness of Indiana.

She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Arlene Hench; a brother Martin May; a granddaughter Tammie Jean Boros; and by her husband Willis Livesay in 1959.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 P.M. with the Rev. Dave Asp, Pastor of the first Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Biddle Cemetery, Crawford County, Ohio.

Memorial expressions may be made to the American Heart Association and left in care of the funeral home.
