Dorothy Louise (Buck) Page

Louise Page, age 76, of 25 Woodland Road, Shelby, died Sunday afternoon in Mansfield General Hospital after a 3-month illness. She was born August 14, 1914 in Shelby, the daughter of Bloom and Gettie (Bailey) Buck.
Mrs. Page retired in 1976 from the Shelby Mutual Insurance Company where she had been an insurance underwriter. She was a member of the First United MethodisT Church where she had been in the hand bell choir and Circle #2. She was a member of Rizpah Chapter #153 Order of the Easter Star, AARP, Shelby Memorial Hospital Guild, and was a charter member of the Child Conservation League Mothers Club #2, and had been a driver for meals on wheels.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Page, whom she married on January 20, 1940; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Jon and Jo Anne Page of Wooster, and Gary and Sue Page of Colchester , Vermont; 1 daughter and son-in-law: Janet and Ron Whitehill of Ashland; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; 1 brother, Eugene Buck of Manito, IL.
She was preceded in death by 1 brother.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home where Eastern Star Services will be held Tuesday evening at 8:30 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church with her pastor Rev. Lyle Hinkle, officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Memorial expressions may be made to the First United Methodist Church and left in care of the funeral home.
