Dorothy K. (Seton) James

Dorothy K. James, age 83, of 19 Park Village, died Sunday evening February 13 at Crestline Memorial Hospital. She was born April 14, 1910 in Coalinga, California the daughter of Christall Dougal and Sara (Moore) Seton.

Mrs. James was an adminitrative assistant for the president of Wolf Envelope Company in Cleveland for over 25 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Shelby and the Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority. She had been the treasurer at Park Village for serveral years.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Susan Smith of Boulder, Colorado; and by 1 grandson Shaun Smith of Boulder; 1 brother, James C. Seton of Lebanon, Ohio; nieces and nephews, including 2 nieces Dorothy Hill and Karen Conrad, as well as many close friends.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert Benjamin Seton in 1993 and by Charles (Bill) Seton in 1974.

Tnere will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, February 23 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with Father John Jorden, her pastor, officiating.

Memorial expressions may be made to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Anyone needing transportation to the memorial service can call the church
