Doreen Kay Roose
Doreen Kay Roose, age 32, of St. Rt. 96 West, Shelby, died Monday,
July 7, 2008, on Cairns Road in Mansfield, as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born December 12, 1975 in Shelby and was a 1994 graduate of Shelby Senior High School. Doreen was a homemaker.
Kay is survived by her husband, Jonathan Roose of Mansfield; 2 daughters, Shannon Roose and Heidi Williston both at home; a son, Jacob Williston at home; Her father, Robert W. Williston III of Shelby; a sister and her husband, Heather and Mark Knipp of Shelby; Her grandmother, Bonnie Williston of Shelby; Her mother-in-law, Sandy Roose of Mansfield; a half brother and half sister; Her uncle, John Williston of Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doreen McClay and her maternal grandfather, Robert Williston, Jr.
Calling hours will be on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 10:30 AM by Rev. Steven C. Bond, pastor of First Lutheran Church in Shelby. Burial will be in London Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to the Turner Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses. Please know that you and your family are in our prayers at this emotional and difficult time. Please tell Andy that I’m so sorry to hear about his mother’s death, and that she will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
