Dolores P. (Eberl) Weaver

Dolores P. Weaver, age 63, of 5596 Vernon West Road, Shelby, died Monday afternoon in Shelby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. She was born December 19, 1924 in New Washington, Ohio, the daughter of Julius and Gertrude (Roettgen) Eberl.

Mrs. Weaver is survived by her husband, Joseph Weaver, whom she married on March 2, 1946; 5 sons: Roger Weaver and Donald Weaver both of Shelby, Gerald Weaver, of Crestline, and Timothy Weaver and Edward Weaver both of Galion; 2 daughters: Mrs. Jack (Sally)
Horner of Plymouth, and Mrs. Guy (Peggy) Cyrus of Lexington; 5 sisters: Mrs. Russell (Helen) Rhodes of Shelby, Mrs. Rose Kintz, Mrs. Donald (Rita) Savage both of Willoughby, Ohio, Mrs. Floyd (Martha) Tennyson of East Lake, Ohio, and Mrs. Jack (Marcella) Dowdy of Roanoke, VA; 2 brothers: Julius Eberl of Parma,Ohio and Herbert Eberl of Chesterland, Ohio; 22 grandchildren.

Mrs. Weaver was a homemaker and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the Shelby settlement and the Altar and Rosary Society at the church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with her pastor the Rev. Gregory Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday at the Turner Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The rosary will be recited Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m.
