Dixie L. Walter

Dixie L. Walter, age 80, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at her home.

She was born January 21, 1932 in Richland County, Ohio the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret E. (Rupert) Kepple. Dixie was a graduate of Epworth School and retired from Shelby Mutual Insurance Company. She was a member of Clay Memorial Lutheran Church.

Dixie is survived by her son: Greg and Nadine Walter of Mansfield; a daughter-in-law: Kandace Walter of Crestline; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard E. Walter, Sr. in 1998, a son: Richard E. Walter, Jr. in 2012, brothers: William and Robert Kepple and sisters: Viriginia Nivens and Dorothy Davis.

Memorial services will be on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at 10 AM at Clay Memorial Lutheran Church, 1061 Amoy East Road, Mansfield, with Rev. Carol Kilgore officiating. The family will receive guests in the fellowship hall following the services with a luncheon to be served at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
