Deary Flay Anderson
Funeral services for Deary Flay Anderson, 69, of 245 Riggs St., Plymouth, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, Shelby, by the Rev. Virgil McClain.
Burial will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens. Calling hours for Mr. Anderson, who died Tuesday evening at his home, are this evening from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Born March 7, 1918, in Poland, WV, he retired in 1985 from the maintenance department of the Shelby Mutual Insurance Co. For most of his life, he was a finishing carpenter for various area contractors. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II.
He is survived by four sons, Eugene of Bellefontaine, Gary of Shelby, and Ken and Eric, both of Plymouth; one daughter, Mrs. Dan (Kathy) LaGasse of Omaha, NE; six brothers, Ferry, Hunter and Lauren of Rock Cave, WV, Roland of Kingston, TN, Doland of LaGrange and Floyd of Parkersburg, WV; and five sisters, Dorothy Anderson, Vanna Cougar and Rose Cutlit, all of Rock Cave, WV, Louise Hull of Virginia and Peggy Daniels of Kingsport, TN. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
