David E. Lybarger

David E. LYBARGER, age 51, of 510 State Route 603 West , Shiloh, Ohio, died Tuesday morning November 3, 1998 at his home after an extended illness.

Dave was born March 13, 1947 in Mansfield, Ohio the son of William H. and Helen L. (Swanger) Lybarger. He was a 1967 graduate of Shelby Sr. High School and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam war serving in the 125th infantry division. Dave was a 29 year employee of Armco Steel Co. in Mansfield. He attended the Stiving Road Freewill Baptist Church and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Mansfield, the American Motorcyclist Association and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by his wife, Della (Horn) Lybarger , whom he wed on September 9, 1967; 2 sons, Jeff Lybarger of Galion and Jeremy Lybarger of Shiloh; his brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws,
Sherlen and Della Horn of Shelby , James and Bertha Horn of Hode, Kentucky, Bob and Norma Horn of Palatka, Fla., and Bob and Vella McClain of Shelby. Aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1989 and by his mother in October of 1998 and by a grandson, Logan Lybarger.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, November 5, 1998, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Monty Perry officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Military honors will be conducted at the graveside by the Joint Veterans Council. Memorial expressions may be made to the Stiving Road Freewill Baptist Church or to Med Central Hospice.
