D. Kenneth Stover, age 81, of 51 Raymond Avenue, Shelby, died Tuesday afternoon, February 13, 1996 at Med-Central/Shelby Hospital after and extended illness.

He was born October 21, 1914 in Shelby the son of Samuel Clark and Zoe Ella (Scrafield) Stover.

Mr. Stover was the manager of the Shelby and Shiloh branch of the Richland County Farm Bureau/Landmark for 42 years. He was a member of Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church and the Farm Bureau. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

Mr. Stover is survived by his wife, Lucille (Metzger) Stover, whom he married on February 24, 1941; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas A. and Dianne Stover of Sparks, Nevada and Rovert C. and Sue Stover of Shelby; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Sally and Jerry Cline of Delaware, Ohio; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 2 brothers, Harold Stover of Napoleo, Ohio and Charles Stover of Shelby; 1 sister, Marian Bidinger of Everton, Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Lucille Yoakam and Mildred Adams and by 1 brother Edwin Stover.

Calling hours will be on Thursdy from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby where a Christian Wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 A.M. at Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church with his pastor Father John C. Missler, officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart Of Mary CAtholic Cemetery.
