Corinne B. Kuhn
Corinne B. Kuhn, age 91, formerly of 604 Scholl Road, Mansfield, Ohio died Sunday, February 11, 2001 at the Winchester Terrace Nursing Home in Mansfield.
She was born December 19, 1909 in Jackson Township, Richland County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Orvie W. and Ethel (Hawk) Kuhn. Miss Kuhn was a 1928 graduate of Shelby High School, and worked in the accounting office at Westinghouse in Mansfield for 46 years. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Shelby where she had served on church council, as president of Lutheran Women, Altar Guild, and as secretary to Shelby Council of Churches. She was a member of the Mansfield Womens Club, Mary Washington Chapter Daughters of American Revolution, Galion Chapter Daughters of Union Veterans, Richland County Republican Women, and Westinghouse Veterans Assoc. She enjoyed gardening and playing bridge.
Miss Kuhn is survived by her 3 sisters: Marjorie Pugh, of Mansfield, L. Jeanette Oates of Shelby, and Marianne Wallace of Bogart, GA; a sister-in-law, Nancy Kuhn of Columbus; 2 nieces: Kathy Kuhn of Columbus, and Ellen Fitzgerald of Lima; 3 nephews: Chris Kuhn of Santa Rosa, CA, Greg
Davis of Dublin, and Stan Wallace of Bogart, GA; several great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Dwight and Leon Kuhn.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at the First Lutheran Church, 33 Broadway, Shelby with Rev. Daniel G. Wenger officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to the Salvation Army.
