Clement A. “Sunny” Hohler

Clement A. Sunny Hohler, Jr. , age 66, of 69 East Smiley Avenue, Shelby, died Thursday, November 04, 2004 at the home of his daughter in Willard, after a short illness.

Clem was born November 17, 1937 in Shelby, the son of the late Gladys (Burns) and Clement A. Hohler, Sr. He was a 1955 graduate of Shelby High School. He began his working career as a meat cutter at his father’s store, Hohler’s Meat Market, in Shelby, continuing as a meat cutter, He worked at T&A Saveway Market in Mansfield, TJ’s Market in Shelby and retired from the Cleveland Avenue Market in Ashland. He was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. His hobby was building model airplanes.

Clem is survived by his daughters, Lisa (Frank) Brown of Willard, Carla (Jason) Stern of Noblesville, In; 2 stepsons, Allan Cline, and Jeffrey (Diane) Cline; 4 grandchildren, Tyler Hohler, Lauren Stern, Shelby Cline, Makayla Cline; 3 sisters, Alice (Kent) Hodges of Redding, CA, June (Floyd) James of Shelby, Mary (John) Ehmann of Bucyrus; and Oscar, his pet Boston terrier. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Hellen F. (Beasley) Hohler on July 7, 2002, and 2 brothers, William and James Hohler.

Friends may call on Sunday, November 7, 2004 from 2-4 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby and on Monday from 9:30-10:30 AM. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Father Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to Med Central Mansfield Hospital.
