Clarice M. (Lewis) Troxell

Clarice M. Troxell, age 82, of 86 Glenwood Drive, Shelby, died Wednesday in Shelby.

She was born July 22, 1912 in Lexington, Kentucky the daughter of Thomas E. and Lulu A. (Walsh) Lewis.

Mrs. Troxell was a homemaker.She was a member of the First Christian Church in Shelby, and Rizpah Chapter #153 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a 1930 graduate of Shelby High School.

Mrs. Troxell is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-law, Mary L. and Thomas Ruckman of Bolivar, Ohio; 1 grandson, Adam Ruckman of Bolivar and 1 granddaughter, Melissa Ruckman of Bolivar.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Troxell in 1988, by a son Gary Troxell in 1951 and by 1 sister, Hazel Fink in 1978.

Calling hours will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m until 11:00 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.

Memorial expressions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street in Shelby.
