Clara May (Call) Needs

Clara May Needs, age 95, of 4733 State Route 61 South, Shelby, died Thursday morning, November 23, 2000 at Willard Health Care in Willard, Ohio after a long illness.

She was born October 6, 1905 in Warnock, Ohio, the daughter of the late James H. and Eliza Ellen (Travis) Call. Mrs. Needs was a homemaker.

She is survived by 2 sons: George E. Needs of Crestline and James R. Needs of Shelby; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Geroge William Needs in 1972; 2 grandchildren, David and Mary Ellen Needs; a brother, James Call, Jr.; 2 sisters, Margaret Baker and Emma Porter; and a son, Charles W. Needs.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, Novmeber 28, 2000 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Rev. John Van Horn, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Crestline, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to the Salvation Army.
