Clara D. (Dyleski) Henrikson

Clara D. Henrikson, age 80, of 24 Sunset Drive, Shelby, died unexpectedly Saturday
in Shelby Memorial Hospital. She was born February 19, 1914 in Bound Brook, New Jersey
the daughter of Frank and Sophie (Esmond) Dyleski.
Mrs. Henrikson was a former employee of Lawsons, K and H Drug Store, and Rite Aid Drug
all in Shelby. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Daughters Of Isabella, Altar and Rosary, and A.A.R.P. She was a former grey lady at Shelby Memorial Hospital and a former member of the ladies golf league at the Shelby Country Club. She attended St. Mary School and Bound Brook High School both in New Jersey.
Mrs. Henrikson is survived by her husband of 59 years, Wesley R. Henrikson, whom she married on September 16, 1934. 1 son and daughter-in-law, Wesley R. and Sally Henrikson, Jr. of Northville, Michigan; 1 daughter and son-in-law: Gerry and Jim Coen of Fairborn, Ohio; 4 grandchildren, Holly Hayes, Suzie Tapia, Carrie Coen and Andy Coen. 1 sister: Stasia Gudusky of Bound Brook, N.J.; 1 brother, Frank Dyleski of Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by her 2 sisters, Freda Brygier and Jennie Lazicky.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where wake services will be held at 4:00 p.m.Daughters of Isabella will recite the rosary at 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby, with her pastor Father John C. Missler, officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Cemetery Memorial expressions may be made to the church and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street in Shelby.
