Christina W. (Schuff ) Fidler
Christina W. Fidler, age 77, of 697 Fairfax Avenue, Mansfield, died Tuesday evening in Mansfield General Hospital after a short illness. She was born November 19, 1914 in Mansfield, the daughter of Michael and Christine (Wentz) Schuff .
Mrs. Fidler was a homemaker and a member of the Clay Memorial Lutheran Church and the Women Of The Moose Chapter 147 in Mansfield.
Mrs. Fidler is survived by 4 daughters and sons-in-law: Diane and Kenneth Harmon of Sheffield Lake; Clara and Lawrence Shorter of Shelby; Betty and Ronnie Zera and Anna Mae and Gary Ward all of Mansfield; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Elizabeth Sowash of Mansfield; and 1 brother Fred Schuff of Port Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester W. Fidler, Sr., in May of 1992; 2 sons: Chester J. Fidler, Jr., and Michael H. Hatfield.
Calling hours will be today from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. William Thurber, Pastor of Community Bible Church in Mansfield. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
Memorial expressions may be made to the Diabetes Association and left in care of the funeral home.
