Charles Sharkey, Jr.

Charles Sharkey, Jr., age 74, of 43 Sunset Drive, Shelby, died early this morning in the Crestwood Care Center.

Mr. Sharkey was born September 2, 1915 in Shelby, the son of Willis P. and Emma (Nazor) Sharkey.

Mr. Sharkey is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. Larry (Gloria) Ault of Mansfield; 2 grandaughters: Stacy and Jodie Pfahler both of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; by 1 brother, Willis; and an uncle, Charles Sharkey.

He was the Superintendent of Annealing at Ohio Steel Tube Co. for 43 years. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. with his pastor the Rev. Dr. Carl L. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
