    Condolence:

The parish community of Sacred Heart of Jesus, Bethlehem expresses our prayers and thoughts for the family of Charlie. Charlie was a man of great faith, and was at a serene peace with his illness. Charlie was a man who indeed taught how to live, and how to die: with our eyes and hearts focused on our Savior. His warm and welcoming smile will be missed at the Settlement.

“Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him”

I already miss him. He was so special and I am truly blessed to have been with him the last month of his life. The things he said to me, his wonderful heart will not be forgotten. We prayed the rosary together every day. On Friday, I forgot my rosary, he still wanted to pray and told me he would lead. Yes, Charlie, you are a leader. Leading all of us to heaven. He told me he would be with me in spirit when I prayed the rosary after he was gone. What a wonderful legacy he has left to all who knew & loved him. My deepest sympathy to his family. Robin Rae

Letting you know that your in our thoughts, and prayers.

I have good memories of staying at Charlies and fishing.
He’d always have that big grin, and tell me about grandpa working on his old car.

    Sincerly,
