Chadman Rollen Wilson

Chadman Rollen Wilson, age 75, of 10 1/2 Rear Summit Street, Shelby, died late Sunday evening in Peoples Hospital in Mansfield after a short illness. He was born January 19,1914 in Buskirk, Kentucky, the son of John Morris and Alwilda (Williams) Wilson.

Mr. Wilson is a retired Tappan employee and a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Shelby.

Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Walsa (Bradley) Wilson, whom he married on February 2,1933; 4 sons: John of Cascoe, Arkansas; Estill of Shelby; Danny of Ypsilanti, MI; Jimmy of Murfreesboro, TN; 1 daughter, Janice K. Wilson of Shelby; 12 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 1 brother Elwood Wilson of Buskirk, Kentucky; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Wanda F. Moyer in 1985; 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home with his pastor the Rev. Monty Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
