Cecelia K. (Rieman) Niese

Cecelia K. Niese, age 79, of 7833 State Route 96, Crestline, died Saturday evening in Mansfield General Hospital after a short illness. She was born July 23, 1912 in Putnam County, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Kreinbrink) Rieman.
Mrs. Niese was a homemaker, a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bethlehem,
Daughters of Isabella, Altar and Rosary Society, and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary. She and her husband Waldo were honored as family of the year for Shelby K of C Council #1968 in 1990.
Mrs. Niese is survived by her husband of 56 years, Waldo Niese; 5 sons and daughtets- in-law: James and Shirley Niese, Jerry and Carol Niese, and Joseph and Maxine Niese all of Crestline; Robert and Lillian Niese of Shelby; and Thomas and Dorothy Niese of Tiro; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and William Tabor of Atlanta, Georgia; 25 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 bothers: Vincent Rieman and Albert Rieman both of Crestline, and Carl Rieman of Ottawa; 1 sister, Elvera Schroeder of Galion.
She was preceded io death by an great-granddaughter, Alyssa Auck, and by 2 brothers Felix and Ed Rieman.
Calling hours will be today from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:30 A.M. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Bethlehem with her pastor the Rev. Jerome G. Niedermier, officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Daughters of Isabella will recite the rosary at 4 p.m. and a scripture service will be held at 8:45 p.m. at the funeral home today.
