To the Family of Katie Adam,
It is with a sad heart, I send you this message of sympathy and loss. It is also a reminder of the great gift Katie was to each of us.
She truly lived out fully and faithfully, her vocation to the married life of wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her dear Roger, the “Handy Man”, and was so very proud of her MaryAnn, Melinda and Denny and grandchildren whom she also cherished.
Katie’s heart and hands were open to all who met her – briefly or over a long period of time. She believed firmly in a strong and early Catholic formation and education. She was a pioneer and advocate for St. Mary’s School and Parish. Her deep faith and devotion to family and church are to be admired and imitated.
Katie Adam will always be remembered as a loyal, efficient, friendly and caring school secretary, but above all, she will remain in my heart as a true friend.
I send you all, my deepest sympathy and prayers,
Sister Margaret Rose Sczesniak

Dear Roger, Denny and Liz, Mary Ann and Bill, and Lindy and Bruce and families. I am so sorry to hear of the sad loss of your beautiful wife and mother.I pray that God will bless you and keep you all at this difficult time. Katie was warm, gracious, caring, and full of good will.
She was a big part of my childhood and on into adulthood I have kept in contact with her and Roger whenever I was in town.
Thank you Katie for the best chocolate chip cookies in the world, the swings on the porch, my sewing lessons and for just being you!
Most people walk in and out of our lives but only true friends leave footprints on our hearts, so farewell Katie and may your soul rest in perfect peace.
