Carl. M. Spoljarick
Carl M. Spoljarick, age 89, of 2946 Alper, Lincoln Park, Michigan, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 3, 1999 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bob Burky of Shelby.
Mr. Spoljarick was born September 22, 1909 in Yugoslavia, the son of Mike and Madeline
(Persick) Spoljarick. Mr. Spoljarick was a vacuum sweeper salesman for Electrolux sweepers for over 50 years. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and the Mantle Club both in
Lincoln Park, Michigan.
Surviving along with his daughter are 2 sons and 2 daughters-in-law: William Spoljarick of Alaska and Carl and Connie Spoljarick of South Gate, Michigan, and Maria Spoljarick of Lincoln Park, Michigan; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 sister: Diane Sarick of Lincoln Park, Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Spoljarick in 1994; and by a son, Clifford Spoljarick in 1997.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 1-7 p.m. at the J .L. Peters Funeral Home, 3880 Fort Street, Lincoln Park, Michigan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Lincoln Park. Burial will be in Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan. Memorial expressions may be made to the Shelby Whippet Band and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home who is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
