Byron Richmond Wagoner, Sr.

Bryon Richmond Wagoner, Sr., 85, of Ohio 61 North and formerly of Toledo, died Tuesday at the Crestwood Care Center after a lingering illness.

Born June 6, 1901 in Fulton County, he was the son of William Marion and Ellen (Erehart) Wagoner.

Suryiving are his wife, Beatrice (Rathburn) Wagoner, whom he married on March 29, 1930; one son, Byron Richmond Wagoner, Jr. of North Olmstead; one daughter, Mrs. Keith (Janet) Bloom of Shelby; five grandchildren; two brothers: Clark Wagoner and Lawrence Wagoner, both of Toledo; two sisters: Mrs. Chester (Katherine) Bigelow of Toledo and Mrs. Eric (Ruth) Ahlfors of Brooklyn, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Bersticker Funeral Home in Toldeo with Rev. Paul Hegele, pastor of the Holy Trinity Church in Toledo, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church of Shelby or the American Cancer Society and can be left at Turner Funeral Home which is handling local arrangements.
