Brenda Joyce (Kennedy) Easterling

Brenda Joyce (Kennedy) Easterling, age 45, of 221 Stewart Road in Mansfield, died early Wednesday morning in the Cleveland Clinic after a short illness. She was born December 17, 1948 in Earling, West Virginia the daughter of Dewey and Opal (Stallard) Kennedy.

Mrs. Easterling was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Robert J. Easterling, whom she married on April 8, 1971; 1 daughter, Melissa J. Easterling of Mansfield; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Morton Easterling in 1980; a sister Naomi J. Bays in 1989; and by a brother C. Eugene Kennedy in 1990.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. Hertis Stone officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
