Gwen, Sam, & Ginger:
We drove past your Mom’s house yesterday afternoon, knowing she wasn’t good and wondering “if” she would ever get back there. Then we got back to Muncie and heard the sad news. You have our sympathies. From the early 1960s, I still remember the huge smile on her face . . . while we all decorated Christmas cookies on the kitchen table (with sprinkles, sugar, etc. going everywhere). She knew us kids were having a good time, and enjoyed baking the cookie blanks for us. Then we ate dozens of the things in one setting, way too many at one time! Sorry for your loss.

Deepest condolences at this difficult time. Fondly remembering being in the barber shop with my dad, and at your house getting my own hair cut.
Your mom’s flowers were always so beautiful. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Rest in Peace Bonnie. God be with you all in the next few days and comfort you.

So many trips I made to your Mom’s back door with her mail…so many times I saw her standing at the sink in her bathrobe preparing food for yet another one of her get togethers. Some times she would meet me at the door and we would chat. Sometimes she would ask me what was going on in Shiloh…..especially in the winter when she was stuck in the house. Some times she would just look up and give me a smile and a wave. Some times she would be concentrating so much on her work that she didn’t even know that I was there. So many envelopes I took from her mailbox that had the names of her children and grandchildren on them……she was so faithful in writing to her family and keeping in touch. Bonnie was a beautiful lady — both inside and out — she is going to be missed. Sending my sincere sympathy to her family.

I remember meeting Bonnie for the first time when I went to Gwens to play mahjong. Such a beautiful lady, always with perfect hair and make up and the most kind person I may ever have met. One time we were talking about kids and she said how proud she was of all of hers. When I asked her for words of wisdom on childrearing, she said “I never gave my children advise unless they asked for it”.Now that;s a good piece of wisdom.
So sorry for your loss.
