Beulah A. (Maidment) Snyder
Beulah A. Snyder, age 80, of 1000 Piper Road, Mansfield, died Tuesday morning, November 21, 1995 in Mansfield General Hospital after a short illness. She was born December 28, 1914 in Bowling Green , Ohio the daughter of George E. and Mary (Dix) Maidment.
Mrs. Snyder was a homemaker. She and her late husband farmed and raised dairy cattle in the Rome area. She was a member of the First Church of the Brethren in Mansfield, the Rome Country Club for over 40 years, and the former Ganges Grange.
Mrs. Snyder is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Francis and Alice Snyder of Shiloh, and Bruce and Marcia Snyder of Shelby. 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Daniel Fuller of Akron and Mary and Danny Cairns of Mansfield. 6 grandchildren. 5 great grandchildren. 2 brothers, Mearl Maidment of Bowling Green, Ohio and George Maidment of Bloomdale, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence W. Snyder on August 30, 1971, by 2 infant sons, Leland and Donald Snyder, 5 brothers, Marion, Lawrence, Mark, John, and Clarence Maidment and by 4 sisters, Bertha Vail, Edith Maidment, Myrtle Allen, and Pearl Carpenter.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, and also one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of the Brethren, at the corner of Indiana and Grace Streets in Mansfield, with Rev. Clyde C. Fry, officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in Sergent Cemetery in Portage, Wood County, Ohio.
